What photographer would miss the opportunity to photography the amazing Lumiere festival coming to Durham this year? This year was even bigger, better and grander than before! The highlights are a huge snowglobe surrounding the horse in Market Square and an amazing light display of old vests(?!) inside Durham Cathedral. Plus the lights on the bridges, castle and projections onto the cathedral are all worth seeing. Durham is obviously an amazing place for a display like this and we hope you enjoy the pictures. You can visit the official site to read about the artists here.
If you want any of these photos in high resolution (without watermarks etc), please just contact us and we will send them to you, for free of course!

Andy - Great photos! I love the snow globe – inside the cathedral looks great too, what type of lens did you use? Cheers, Andy
admin - Hi Andy, thanks for your comment!
I used a Sony/Carl Zeiss 16-35/2.8 – image stabilised on my camera too. It’s *DARK* in there!!
Simon - great pictures, especially like the Lumiere night-time shots
